I will guide you through the process of a celebrant-led service, including the legal formalities. I always love to hear couple’s creative ideas, before getting to work designing the perfect ceremony for you.
With a celebrant at the helm, you have the freedom and flexibility to have your service in an endless choice of venues - in a brewery, on the beach or in your best pal’s garden. We can even bring your guests together in unlicensed formal venues, if you’ve spotted a hotel or castle you fancy!
Great, what else?
You can hold your ceremony at any time of day that suits you - at sunrise, or by moonlight, or during a massive family lunch. It’s up to you who you’d like to include, children and pets are always welcome - though elopements are fantastically special too.
I would be delighted to perform a more traditional service including some spiritual references, or to honour family tradition with a religious element - a celebrant can provide a contemporary yet dignified service, and help bridge the gap in couples and families with differing beliefs.
But wait, there’s more.
Let’s talk rituals. From exchanging rings to petal scattering, a family singalong or ribbon handfasting, I’d be happy to advise you on a meaningful ritual to include within your ceremony. Rituals can be a lovely way of including other family members and friends in your ceremony too, and incorporating natural elements like stones and water into your day.

If there is anything you know you absolutely don’t want in your ceremony, no worries - it’s all up to you! That’s the fab bit about a celebrant-led service.
Your wedding ceremony can be as traditional as you wish, but if a white dress and walking down an aisle isn’t you - let’s pop those ideas in the bin and start again.
If you absolutely long to celebrate your relationship with a classic wedding ceremony, but the idea of all-eyes-on-you fills you with dread, there are ways we can get around that too.

Writing your Vows
You may or may not want to include your own vows within your ceremony.
While I can absolutely suggest some wording or readings that may resonate with your style, many couples want to write and/or read their own special vows to one another. These can be as solemn or as creative as suits the two of you.
It is perfectly normal to struggle with wording these promises, or to worry about public speaking - but as a trained coach, this is an area I would be happy to help you with. Please enquire for my coaching fees.
